Larry said, "My guest and I had an incredible time last night. She and I both live on the Southside and had never been to Culhanes before last night. The whole experience was so well orchestrated from the food selection to the music and also the friendships that were made. Jenny and I left so full that I am sure we won’t eat till at least dinner tonight. I would have to say for myself the tuna and the salmon wellington had the best flavor on the menu. The variety of items we tried was a nice surprise for a pub and I know that I would recommend Culhanes to my friends in the future."
Jessica said, "That was my first time at Culhanes and I would definitely go back! Even my drink that was made at the bar was better than I have had at other restaurants! The food was made so well I even tried crab for the first time! And I am not a seafood person at all! I plan on bringing friends to share in my next experience there as well. My favorite of the night would definitely have to be between the beef sliders and dessert. The sliders were cooked to perfection in my opinion, and the sauce they put on it, in addition to the onions was the perfect compliment! I really enjoyed them. But I have to say that I am bias to sweets…which is why dessert excited me the most. The little apple tarts in the whiskey sauce were so wonderful, that flavor instantly makes me feel comfortable and at home, and it was very well executed. And I am so happy that root beer floats made it onto the menu, those take me back to my childhood! The alcohol pairings were wonderful, although I do not drink beer, I had my boyfriend there to handle that part, I have absolutely no complaints; and surprisingly the food was all fresh, and warm, not like it had been sitting there as sometimes you get with food made in large amounts."
Grace said, "The seared tuna was actually surprisingly really tasty. I think it’s easy to go wrong with seared tuna and even harder to make it stand out – it was cooked just long enough and everything served with it complimented it very well.
The portions were more than enough! I found myself not asking for seconds on some things (no matter how much I wanted it) just so I could save room!
The selection was excellent. I really liked that we went to an Irish Pub and got to try the more out of the box things on the menu. I had no idea all those things were on the menu! I feel like those types of things are typically overlooked…who knew an Irish Pub could do anything other than Irish so well?!"

Scott said, "First time at Culhane's, and enjoyed it very much. I'd recommend it to anybody. Place had a real friendly feel to it. Our favorite food was probably the tuna. The sherry cream sauce on the mussels kicked as well."
Andrea said, "I had never been to Culhane's, but I would definitely go back. I will be recommending it to friends as well as guests of the resort. My favorite food was the beef wellington. It was absolutely delicious! I also loved the sliders. They were perfect! I was worried that maybe it would just be a few appetizers and that you would only get to try one of everything, but to my surprise there was plenty to go around for seconds and thirds if you wanted. I think this helps you really get a sense of how amazing the food is at Culhane's. I think that they did a great selection giving everyone a chance to try a little bit of everything. I took a menu with me and now I am looking forward to trying the Shepherd's Pie and the Beef Stew."
David said, "For me the best item of the night was the seared tuna. Fabulous. My wife liked the crab cakes the best, and I think this was the favorite item for the others at the table. Everyone at our table is looking forward to the next dinner. We all talked about checking the blog more often so we don't get left out. All in all I would say this was a very successful night for us. We have found a wonderful new place to eat."
Jason said, "As far as Culhanes goes, that was my first time there and I will go back, no doubt. My favorite of the night was probably the dessert. It was a perfect pairing with the apple tart, the root beer and the whiskey."
Shelby said, "I thought the whole concept was fun and very innovative. Loved the Apple Tart and Sliders the best! Beef Wellington would be third choice.Great food and cozy atmosphere. Great place to go for after work drinks and dinner!"
